ACT - Atlantic Coast Theatre, North Devon

ACT I

"Overture"

"Eastwick Knows"

Big company number introducing the townsfolk of Eastwick.

Alexandra's house. Living room
Shows the boredom of the three women (Alexandra, Sukie and Jane). Michael (Alexandra's son) and Jennifer (his girlfriend) are introduced.

"Something"
Michael and Jennifer represent the perfect lovers.

"Make Him Mine"
Important song as it is the first song by the three women, at the very moment that they ‘create’ Daryl.

Felicia and Clyde's house - kitchen
Married couple that no longer get along. The set is important as quite a few scenes take place there (e.g. Clyde's and Felicia's deaths and the "Telephone Song" that follows ).

"The Telephone Song"
Small company number, which involves Eastwick's ladies gossiping to Felicia and each other on the telephone.

Concert
Darryl Van Horne appears for the first time - he meets Felicia, three leading ladies and the townsfolk for the first time.

"I Love A Little Town"
Big dance number, with Darryl leading the action - the townsfolk are charmed by him.

The beach
Alexandra is on the beach, sculpting. Darryl appears - they go to his house.

"The Eye Of The Beholder" - Darryl's House
Fidel (Darryl' s servant) is introduced. This is the first duet between Darryl and one of the three women, Alexandra - Darryl seduces her.

"The Telephone Song 2" - Felicia's kitchen
Alexandra was seen coming out of the Lenox House (Darryl's).

"Mystery / Waiting for the Music To Begin" - Jane's living room.
As with the Alexandra and Darryl scene, Jane also succumbs to Darryl's charms.

Sukie and Clyde
We learn about their secret "relationship". Felicia and Jennifer surprise them.

"Words, Words, Words" - Sukie's living room.
Darryl seduces Sukie.

Tennis court
The three women realise that they have all been courted by, and have slept with, the same man: Darryl.

"Something"
Love duet between Jennifer and Michael.

"Dirty Laundry"
Big Dance number - full company - shows the rejection of Alex, Jane, Sukie and Darryl by the whole town, led by Felicia. This is Felicia's big number.

"I Wish I May"
This song leads into the Flying Sequence.
Just before the Flying Sequence, Darryl shows the three women how to perform magic, using a "magic" cookie jar. They place a spell on Felicia. With the music and Darryl's spell, they take off and fly.



ACT 2

"Entr'acte"

Concludes with Darryl calling Alexandra.

"Another Night At Darryl's - Alexandra's workshop.
Alexandra's solo - she is getting ready for an evening with Darryl.

"Dance With The Devil" - The Diner.
Big company number beginning with just the boys. Darryl changes Michael and all the men of the city (including Clyde) into singing/dancing devils.

"Another Night At Darryl's" (Reprise)
The three women sing it on the way to Darryl's house. This scene leads into Clyde and Felicia's deaths.

"Evil" - Felicia's kitchen.
Felicia and Clyde in kitchen - ends in both their deaths.

"Dirty Laundry" (Reprise)
The whole town is commenting on the death of Felicia and Clyde.

Lenox House.
The three women go back to Darryl's house to collect their clothes - he tries to convince them to stay.

The beach. - "I Love A Little Town" (Reprise).
Jennifer (whose parents are both dead) is alone when Darryl arrives; he uses his charm to which she easily surrenders. The three women and the townspeople see them together - Darryl and Jennifer are engaged.

The town; Voodoo.
The three women decide to send Darryl back from whence he comes from using voodoo.

"I Wish I May" (Reprise) into "The Glory Of Me"
Jennifer is seen dressed as a bride. Darryl appears - big company dance number.

The Wedding
While Darryl and Jennifer are trying to get married the three women use voodoo on a "Darryl doll". All ends in chaos with Darryl being banished from the town.

"Look At Me"
Michael and Jennifer exit, reunited. The three women are united.
