The Lion King is basically based on Disney's film "The Lion King" but made into a proper musical and put onto stage. The show is made from both films: The Lion King and The Lion King - Simba's Pride.
The show was amazing. The way they made the costumes of the animals was really good, the actually looked like desert animals which made it look really effective. The dancing was different to most other shows because most of the dancing was the animals running about and doing their thing. I personally think the way they did it was really well done. The singing was really good too.
In the show you actually felt part of it, if you get me? You felt like you were going through the circle of life, like on the journey. It made me cry in bits, but as always in every Disney film, it ends happy.
Overall I thought the performance was excellent. I would recommend anyone to go and watch it, and if I had the chance I wouldn't hesitate to go back and watch it again. The show itself has also won many awards.
