With auditions just a couple of months away and Christmas just a memory, thoughts are turning to Acorn Antiques and what they fancy having a go at.
So to help all you would-be Mrs O's and Hugh the pitiful's out, here's a run down of the characters you'll find in the show as described by our director, Jake...

- Playing age 60 - 70
Miss Berta

Meek and slightly timid compared to Babs- Rather sheltered
- Her heart belongs to Mr Clifford whom she was engaged to before his button back beech veneer banquette accident and the ensuing memory loss
- Playing age 30 – 50 (should look similar age wise to Babs and Bonnie)
- Solo Song: Remind Him – but also featured heavily throughout most numbers

- Playing Age 35 – 55

Tony

A cock in tight trousers. Should be fairly attractive as he uses this to get what he wants- Woos Babs into taking out a loan she can’t afford whilst struggling with the side effects of his ‘Fatkins’ diet
- The worse of the two villains in the show – but comes good in the end!
- Solo Song: The Old Small Print (with backing vocalists)
- Playing age 30 - 40
